14 days Tour from Tangier to Casablanca itinerary:
Day 1: Tangier to Chefchaouen
Meet in Tangier port or airport. Pick up and start your 2 weeks tour of Morocco from the gate of Africa, Tangier! Transfer to Chefchaouen via the Rif Mountains. Take visit of Chefchaouen and wander in its Souk. Overnight stay at Chefchaouen. Dinner and breakfast.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Rabat
After breakfast, travel to Rabat. In 4 hours drive, you’ll be in Rabat. The city is the capital of Morocco and gathers all the administrations and embassies. Take 2 hours to visit Rabat. Historical sightseeing will take you to visit the Udaya Kasbah, The Hassan Mosque, the Royal Palace.
Check into the hotel and have a free evening to walk around.
Day 3: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
Travel in the morning from Rabat to Fes. We stop in the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Visit of the roman site of Volubilis. After that, you continue to the nearby city of Meknes where you’ll take Lunch and make short city tour: visit the basin Swani, Gate Bab Mansour, cereal stores and royal stables. In the late afternoon, we drive the 1 hour to Fes. Check into the hotel.
Day4: Fes city tour
Fes, also spelled Fez is the first Moroccan imperial city. It holds a wealth of attractions and known as the religious & spiritual centre of Morocco. The University of Karaouiyine is the only old operating university since the year of 859. Hiring an informative local guide in Fes is essential to have a complete visit.
The journey will be inaugurated by a visit of royal palace main gate, next into the quarter of natural handmade ceramics and poetry where you experience artifacts. You move with your guide to explore the leather treatment area called the tanneries and the vibrant alleys of Fes el Bali (the old Fes).
The bustling streets of the medina will bring you back to the medieval era. You see artisans and their products from slippers, Jellabas, and jewelry…
After an active journey we drive you back to your hotel.
Day5: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga
After breakfast, we depart to Erfoud. On the road we cross several Berber towns: Imouzzèr a small town that gives out to Sais plains around Fes. Ifrane is a summer resort town with a European look in the Middle Atlas Mountains. We drive to Azrou Cedar forest for monkey pictures and then to Midelt for lunch.
In the afternoon, we carry on through the High Atlas Mountains and the valley of Ziz. We pass Errachidia, the city and capital of the province. We drive the rest of the way to Merzouga town where we check into the hotel.
Day6: Around Erg Chebbi desert and overnight stay at the camp
After breakfast, we take an easy drive to discover the around Erg Chebbi desert. Visit the Oasis of palm groves, listen to Gnaoua Music, travel a bit on off road and enjoy the views of sand dunes.
In the afternoon, we change the car with camels and take an hour camel trek into the sand dunes where you spend the night and enjoy a peaceful night under stars. Sleep well.
Day7: Desert to Dades valley via Todgha gorges
In order to take lovely pictures, you will be awaken before sunrise (optional). after that have breakfast. We depart to Dades Valley, and stop in Rissani to have a visit of the local Souk, the traditional market. Takea stop in Erfoud to have a look on the fossilized stones and visit a local fossil factory.
Later on, transfer to Todgha gorges for lunch. Here, devote some time to walk among the cliffs of Todgha gorges and along its River where we exchange the heat of the Sahara desert with the cool weather of the Atlas Mountains.
We keep driving to Boumalne Dades to join the valley of Dades, a green lined place of wall nut, fig and almond trees and gorgeous rock formation at both sides. People cultivate their lands along the River. We check into the hotel.
Day 8: Dades Valley – Roses valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate
Explore the area around the valley of Dades. Enjoy the nice rock formations and the green valley that stretches along the river. Continue to El Kelaa Mgouna that is known for rose distillation: in spring roses flourish and give nice scent and petals for distillation.
We continue to Skoura village where we visit the Kasbah of Amridil. Later on we drive to Ouarzazate. Short city tour and then check into the hotel.
Day 9: Ouarzazate – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
Morning drive to Marrakech via the spectacular pass of Tizi ntichka on the high Mountains. Enjoy the superb view and have lunch on the go.
Reach Marrakech in the early evening. Check into the hotel and have some free time to walk around the medina.
Day 10: Marrakech city tour
The visit consists of a wander in the botanical gardens of Eve Saint Laurent Majorelle, beside other historical sites like the koutoubiaMosque (the twin tower of Giralda in Seville, Spain).
The Saadian tombs demonstrate the Moorish architecture in its perfection, The Bahia palace and Madrassa Ibn Youssef. The guide takes you to the restaurant for lunch.
What about the evening time?
Evening drums will draw you to the Djemaa El Fna (main city square). It’s a festival atmosphere, with snake charmers, Berber and Gnoua musicians, and storytellers illuminated by lamplight and wreathed in smoke. Food stalls on the square sell fresh salads, soups, fried fish and chips, chicken and beef kebabs and even boiled snails or sheep’s head. The best thing is to try an orange jus at a reasonable price. Overnight stay is in medina centered guesthouse, a Riad.
Day 11: Marrakech to Essaouira
Travel in the morning to Essaouira. This coastal city has a nice breeze all the year coming from Atlantic Ocean. The old part of the town is a UNESCO protected city. It is easy to take a walk and watch merchants opening their Bazars for visitors. People will try fresh sea food and enjoy a pleasant walk along the cost.
Day 12: Essaouira

Day 13: Essaouira to Casablanca/ to Marrakech
Transfer to Casablanca hotel or Marrakech hotel depends on which airport you are leaving from the following morning.
Day 14: Airport transfer
At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport. Farwell!
